Friends of Air Force Basketball

Our bus trip to the CSU game Saturday was a lot of fun for everyone and the team certainbly appreciated our support.

So it is time to begin planning for the bus trip to the New Mexico game on Saturday, February 20, 2010 -- game time is 1:30 pm. For this game, we have arranged an overnight trip with accommodations at the Albuquerque Marriott Hotel. Here is the timing: leave the USAFA south gate at 6:00 am Saturday; arrive at "the Pit" at 12:30 for the game; arrive at the Marriott about 5:00 pm (evening at leisure); depart the hotel at 7:30 am Sunday; and return to the Academy at 2:00 pm Sunday.

The cost is $140 per passenger, which includes luxury coach transportation (Gray Line), beverages and snacks on the bus, ticket to the basketball game, room at the Marriott, and snacks on the ride back. This cost is per person, based on double occupancy. Dinner after the game is not included, but there are several fine restaurants quite near the Marriott, including Buca di Bepo, Romano’s Macaroni Grill, and Garduño's of Mexico.

You may sign up for the UNM trip at the Friends of Air Force Basketball table in Clune Arena before any home game between now and February 9th, or reply to this e-mail with your reservation. This is sure to be a fun trip for the Friends, so be sure to sign up early
